Reward Day!

After all his hard work this summer, I rewarded Austin with a new Lego set!
This project has been so much fun that we are already thinking of other things we can do to help others. I have seen a big change in Austin and am proud of how he is starting to help others without being prompted. He even made my bed for me the other day! :)

Letter to a soldier

Austin wrote a letter to my friend's nephew who is serving in the Navy.

Ice Cream

Austin invited Maddox and Peyton to go get ice cream at Chick-fil-A. (Maddox decided not to come). Austin was a gentleman and held the door and got us napkins and spoons. :)

Austin drew a picture and wrote a letter to President Obama. (FYI...I voted for McCain...I am just trying to teach Austin respect for the office of President) :)

Donating to the Humane Society

This project was really fun! We dropped off some items from the HS website and then walked around and got to see all the cats and dogs. :)

Surprising Mimi with lunch at work!

Austin's Summer Project :)

I thought it would be a great learning opportunity for Austin to do a summer project. He is working on sharing God's love with others so I came up with 30 random acts of kindness. Some of you might even reap the benefits of this project! :) One of the girls I work with suggested I blog about it so here goes. :)

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
